On 25th and 27th of August SEHS celebrated Rakshabandhan  festival, to marked by usual fervour and gaiety that one associates with this auspicious occasion. All in all, the celebration of this festival which signifies the beautiful family bond of trust and protection between a brother and sister helped the students to nurture a healthy relationship amongst all at school- which is indeed a home away from home.  To mark this,Rakhi-making and greeting card competitions were arranged on the day. Girls tie rakhies on the hands of their classmates and boys brought sweet and chocolates for girls. Competitions like Poem and Presentation skill were arranged for Primary Section. On 15th August 2018, SEHS students participated in Vidyarthi Jeevan Vikas Spardha organised by Shri Gambhiranand Navnirman Trust in Maharshri Vedvyas Gurukul, Tadali Kamatghar, Bhiwandi. The trust organised various competitions like Quiz, Drawing, Speech and Patriotic Songs. 26 Schools of Bhiwandi participated in progamme orgainsed by Shri Gambhiranand Navnirman Trust. On 15th August 2018, SEHS celebrated India’s 72nd year of Independence with great zeal and patriotic fervor in school premises. The Guest R.N Dande, Baliram Choudhary, Balaram Patil, Nagesh Akubathini ,Venugopal Adep and Parents Teachers Association memebers (PTA)  arrived by 8.30 in the morning to mark the lamp lightning ceremony. The ceremony was followed by unfurling the Tri-colour Indian flag. Students of Secondary section gave  the performance of Scouts and Guide on the day. To showcased iconic moments of freedom struggle students gave speeches and presented patriotic songs. The day ended with distribution of biscuits to students.
