4. Interfacing with LEDs β¨
LED switch
π΅ An LED Circuit with 1 Resistor, 1 LED, and a Slide Switch is a basic electronic setup that allows you to turn on and off the LED. Here’s a brief overview of each component and their interaction:
π Completing the Circuit: Once you’ve connected the components together, the circuit is complete and electricity will flow through it.
π “On” Position: When you slide the switch to the “on” position, the LED will light up.
π “Off” Position: When you slide the switch to the “off” position, the LED will turn off.

LED Dimmer Circuit
π Want to adjust how bright your LED shines? An LED dimmer circuit is your answer!
π Here’s what you’ll need:
π 1x Resistor (controls the current)
π‘ 1x LED (the little light that will shine bright!)
π§ 1x Potentiometer (the knob you’ll turn to adjust the brightness)
π Connect them following the image:
βπ to πβ
πβ to π‘β
π‘β to βπ
π Twist the potentiometer knob β watch the LED dim or brighten as you adjust the current! π€―
π Now you have a dimmer switch for your LED, all thanks to this cool circuit! π
