🤖🚗 12. Microbit program with Open Roberta Lab
🛠️ Step 1: Choose Your System
- 🖱️ What to do: On the Open Roberta Lab page, look for the option to choose your system. Click on ‘micro: bit’.
🚀 Step 2: Start Programming
- 🖱️ What to do: To start making your program, click on the ‘Action’ button.
- ➕ Add Text Block: Find the ‘show text’ block in the action blocks and click it to add what you want your Microbit to say.
- ➕ Add Image Block: Click on the ‘show images’ block to add pictures. You can make your own images using symbols like ‘#’.
- 🔁 Repeat Actions: If you want your program to do something over and over, use the ‘repeat’ block and put your actions inside it.
💡 Step 3: Add More Blocks (Optional)
- 🖱️ What to do: If you want to add more cool stuff, look for the ‘Variables’ and ‘Images’ sections. For example, if you want to add a heart shape, find it and click on it to add it to your program.
▶️ Step 4: Run Your Program
- 🖱️ What to do: To see how your program works, look for the ‘Start’ button and click on it. You’ll see a simulation of your Microbit with your text and images.
💾 Step 5: Save Your Work:
- 🖱️ What to do: To save your program.
- Click on the ‘Save’ button.
- Type in your username and password.
- Click ‘OK’ to save your program.
