🤔 11. Stop and look

Help the cat cross the street safely by pausing first at the sidewalk!

📚 What You’ll Learn:

⏳ Use a Wait block to create a pause in the action.

🛠️ How to Make It:

🖼️ Select the suburbs background and position your cat.

🏁 Start the script with a Start on Green Flag block.

➡️ Use the Move Down block to move the cat toward the sidewalk.

🚫 Ensure Safety:

🛑 Make sure the cat isn’t already in the road.

⏳ Time Delay:

⌛ Drag the Wait block from the orange blocks category to your script.

⏳ Adjust Wait Time:

• 👆 Tap the number input on the Wait block.
• 🔢 Change the time in tenths of a second.
• ⏱️ Set the number to 20 for a 2-second wait before the cat crosses the street.

🚶‍♂️ Cross Safely:

• 🐱 Wait at the side of the street.
• ⬇️ Move the cat down another four steps to reach the other side.

🟢 Run Script:

🚩 Tap the Green Flag button to run the script.

⏸️ Script pauses at the Wait block.

▶️ Continues from the last block after the pause.

🐱 Cat’s Movement:

🌱 Moves from the grass to the edge of the road.

⏸️ Pauses momentarily.

🛣️ Crosses the street.
